How r u doing? How is everything?

This time, I want to talk to u about a movie from my favorites... The name is Music & Lyrics. (There's the official site on the link) The movie is about a singer/songwriter, Alex Fletcher(Hugh Grant) who used to be very famous in the 80s. No one knows about him and his old group ( which isn't a group now) anymore.

One day , Alex Fletcher recieves an offer for writing a song to the most famous 2nd superstar of this time. He knows how to write the chords for the song about love but he has no idea how the lyrics should be. He finds the "most talented" lyrisist in that time but he doesn't like the lyrisist's lyrics but the plant girl's. Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore) comes to Alex's house to replace the girl which waters his flowers. She has some good ideas about the lyrics and tells them to Alex but the lyrisist gets angry and goes away.

Sophie and Alex, who have fallen in love with eachother, start to write these lyrics in a very short time and they take it to the young superstar. She likes it but she turns it to a song that has a melody which ruins all the words. Alex just wants the job but Sophie decides to tell the truth. They fight and Sophie goes away.

As intectious as a great pop song. Hits all the right notes.

In the big final, in the concert, the superstar announces a song that is both composed and written by Alex Fletcher. Sophie gets very angry and disappointed. She is almost leaving the concert when she realizes that this song is different than what she has written. Alex has written a song for her. They make peace and continiue their life together...

The movie is a lovely movie! I suggest u all to watch it... The soundtracks are wonderful too...

Hi again guys!

I am very sorry for being unable to write to u. I moved to another house & I don't have an internet yet. This time I want to inform you about a musical that we've been workin' on at school. The name is Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat(please click to have an idea of the music and the musical, it is a very good video). It has a religious subject but the musical is kind of a comedy. I bet probably none of you know this one because neither did I. It is about Joseph, one of Jacob's sons. Jacob always behaves special to Joseph which makes the other brothers be jelous and so they decide to kill Joseph. After all, another idea occurs which is to sell Joseph as a slave. The thing is that Joseph has an ability to comment on dreams which always come true. At Egypt, where Joseph is, the Pharoh hears his ability and calls Joseph to a make a comment on his weirdest dream. As a result, Joseph becomes very famous and also rich. One day, his brothers come to Egypt to ask for help where they don't know the helper is their brother. Joseph plays a game to understand wheter his brothers have learned how important family is or not. The happening is generally like this.
In my opinion, one of the best songs of this musical is Any Dream Will Do. You may search about this and tell me your comments...

The definition of Music

Hi again guys!



How r u doing? I'm sorry that I couldn't post anything recently. I was all busy with moving to a new house & I still am not done yet. About music, I just wanted to tell u my ideas of what music is this time so that you can comment & tell me what U think music is :D I am a person who really is into music and lives with it. That's why music is a different dimension for me. Its a way of living. When I feel sad or just depressed, listening to slow music and letting my tears come out makes me relaxed. When I feel angry, I listen to hard music. When I'm happy, I listen to everything.( : So, music is a tool that people create to tell about their feelings. In my opinion, showing how u feel is a part of who u really are. There's a common sentence that says" be yourself" in English. I think being yourself is being yourself no matter what people say. I'm not saying that you shouldn't care what everyone else thinks about you when you be yourself, I'm just saying if you need to cry, just cry. What people around you say IS important but not as much as how YOU want to act. So, we all have music that we like more and less. This is all about yourself and how you want to react against you feelings. Maybe I listen to slow music when I'm sad to feel relaxed and you listen to disco music and have fun because you want to forget about your sadness. So, the word "music" means different things to each person. Some people say that music has a measurement to be music. I totally disagree that. You might not like rock but somebody else might. Actually, we have music everywhere in our lives. That's because music is a combination of sounds.







Music can be made by instruments or just nature, etc. My piano teacher always suggests me to sing the notes when I'm not sure which musical value I need to use. She tells me that human voice is the most natural instrument in the world. Everyone has the ability of singing the right notes. There's no such thing as a bad voice. There is a value of not "hearing" the correct notes so that you can sing it. This is the reason why there isn't a bad voice. Why I came to this topic is that I joined the school musical this year. I'm kind of obsessed with my voice nowadays. I'll tell you everything about it when I learn which musical we are going to put on stage.

Hey guys! How is everything going? I had a little bit of a trouble here because I couldn't work out what to write this time. But I decided to give u some information&some links about one of my favorite singers. And his name is James Blunt. Most of the people in the world adore this guy, including me... The reason why I like this guy is that his songs tell stories and some of them tells about what I have been through too. He kind of likes slow music and sometimes when I feel like if everything in the world is coming onto me, those songs make me listen my own voice. The melody in the background is awesome! Hi Everyone!
Welcome to my music blog. If you are interested in music in general, if you are playing any instruments, or if you just like listening to music, you will enjoy my blog. I really do enjoy everything about music. And I play piano. So, sometimes, I might add posts about my music classes and what I'm studying right then. Let me tell you what I want from you: I want your opinions and comments here! I would love to improve my blog, so please if you have some suggestions, just tell me. Believe me, I really need them. Speaking of suggestions, I'm not planning to always talk about music in my blog; mostly but not always. The "music is life" part is for subjects about music & the "life is me" part is a little clue of that we will also talk about general everday issues like school, family,etc... Let's say that we'll do some gossiping too. =) My blog topic isn't just about the content of my blog. If you are curious about something or just want to talk about it, please ask.
